About

Allison fell in love with writing in elementary school when her teacher introduced her to a spiral book-binding machine. From that day in first grade, she dreamed of publishing her stories for more than just her parents and little sister to read. But it took some time…

For decades, hundreds of story ideas scrolled through her mind, hoping someday she’d get the chance to turn them into books. And after a career diagnosing congenital heart disease in children, she decided to give it a real try. Now, she writes stories for children, and she feels overwhelmingly proud and lucky to do so!

Allison hopes her stories bring humor and hope to—sometimes—sensitive subjects. She also hopes they entertain and provide a whimsical romp for the imagination. And most of all, she hopes they come across as authentic and genuine, allowing the young—and young at heart—to feel seen, understood, and to know they’re not alone.
